FIA makes noteworthy changes in the regulations for the 2025 F1 season

According to the new regulation, the drivers might be affected by the change that comes into existence for the upcoming season. With the 2025 Formula 1 campaign just around the corner, the excitement around the much-awaited upcoming event, the Australian Grand Prix cannot be contained.
The Australian Grand Prix will be held in Melbourne on March 14. From the starting procedures to the gearboxes- the rules and regulations in Formula One have gone for a proper revamp by the FIA prior to the Australian Grand Prix season. One of the most significant changes that were added by the FIA was with respect to the gearboxes used by the teams. According to the recent changes and updates added by the FIA to the Formula One rulebook, the limitation on the gearboxes has been lifted.
As the gearboxes are much more reliable nowadays, the number of limitations on them clearly makes no sense. Previously the racing teams were limited to only five gearboxes. This significant change would provide more flexibility and liberty to the drivers. The changes would be implemented soon before the campaign.
