BRYAN Leong (pic) flew from London to Kuching two days ago, shrugged off jet lag and took down the Malaysia Games (Sukma) record twice en route to claiming his first swimming gold medal in Kuching yesterday.
The London-based university student smashed the Sukma record of 25.13s set by Selangor’s Chan Jie in Kuala Lumpur two years ago when he topped the boy’s 50m butterfly heats in the morning, clocking 24.81s at the Pandelela Rinong Aquatic Centre.
