Hannah is poised to make a significant impact in her new role as Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach at Lenoir-Rhyne University. Her transition from a standout player to a coaching role promises to bring valuable experience and insight to the team.

“I am deeply grateful and super excited for the opportunity to join Coach Smith, Coach Simmons, and the team at Lenoir-Rhyne University,” states Clark. “This new role will allow me to learn from a fresh perspective, contribute to the growth of the game I cherish, and support the players I am passionate about supporting. I am looking forward to this new chapter and making a positive impact on and off the court.

Clark’s basketball journey is marked by impressive achievements both at the collegiate and high school levels. At Wingate University, she had a remarkable five-year career as the starting point guard. Her leadership on the court was instrumental in the Bulldogs securing the SAC Tournament Championship in 2024, the Regular Season SAC Championship in 2022, and achieving three consecutive NCAA Tournament berths. Clark’s individual accolades include the SAC Tournament MVP in 2024, selections to the All-SAC Tournament Team and the Southeast All-District Team, and multiple All-SAC team honors over her final three seasons. Notably, she reached the 1,000-point milestone in her senior year and contributed significantly to an 18-game winning streak—the best in the nation at the time. Clark concluded her collegiate career with 1,428 points, averaging 16.7 points per game, and was a top performer nationally in three-point shooting and free throw percentage.

Before her college success, Clark made her mark at Kings Mountain High School, where she scored a remarkable 2,032 career points. She set records as the Cleveland County Girls’ all-time leading scorer and the all-time leading scorer for Kings Mountain High School, both for boys and girls. Clark’s high school career was decorated with All-Conference Awards in all four seasons, All-District selections in her last two seasons, and Conference Player of the Year honors in her final season. She also showcased her talents in the North Carolina East and West All-Star Game.

Clark’s extensive playing background and achievements equip her with a deep understanding of the game, which she will undoubtedly bring to her coaching role at Lenoir-Rhyne. Her transition from player to coach is a promising development for the program and a testament to her dedication and skill in the sport.
