MONROE, La. – ULM Athletics has announced a partnership with Influxer, an officially licensed vender that creates co-branded apparel customized with players’ names and numbers, to produce co-branded Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) merchandise for Warhawk student-athletes through an online marketplace.
ULM fans will now have the chance to support the Warhawks in style with personalized merchandise. All ULM student-athletes will have the opportunity to create his or her own web page that showcases their personalized gear available for purchase. Additionally, Influxer will also provide ULM student-athletes education and training on marketing, entrepreneurship and personal branding.
“In the evolving landscape of NIL, we are looking forward to this partnership with Influxer to create opportunities for our ULM student-athletes to capitalize on their name, image and likeness,” said ULM Director of Athletics John Hartwell. “Our fans, alumni and supporters now have the chance to buy officially licensed merchandise customized to their favorite Warhawks and support our ULM student-athletes.”
“Influxer is excited to work with the University of Louisiana Monroe because John Hartwell and the administration understand not only the immediate benefits of working with us, but also the long-term resources for their student-athletes,” said Influxer Vice President Keith Miller. “NIL is not simply transactional, but an opportunity which Influxer wants to further into the development process for their student-athletes.”
Influxer, who is partnered with over 300 universities, will not only oversee the online store, but also all fulfillment and customer service while collaborating with ULM and its student-athletes on creative elements and marketing.
