Birmingham Phoenix were bowled out for the lowest total in the Hundred’s history as they were resoundingly beaten by Northern Superchargers at Edgbaston.
Chasing 116 to win the hosts were dismissed for 54, beating the previous record 64 all out the Oval Invincibles managed against the Superchargers on Friday.
The Phoenix’s 86-ball innings was also the third shortest for a team to be bowled out in the Hundred’s women’s competition.
Opener Sophie Devine struck 20 off 25 balls and Seren Smale posted 16 off 20, but no other Phoenix player made it past seven with the bat.
Spinners Linsey Smith and Georgia Wareham starred with the ball for the visitors both finishing with figures of 3-12.
