Men’s Golf Earns GCAA All-Academic Team Award

NORMAN, Okla. — The High Point University men’s golf team has been awarded its third Golf Coaches Association of America All-Academic Team Award, which was announced by the GCAA this week.

This marks the second consecutive year the Panthers have been honored for a team 3.0-plus GPA and the third time since receiving their first honor in 2018.

There were 240 schools across six divisions who earned a GCAA Outstanding Team Academic Award as 72 Division I teams posted a 3.0-plus GPA to be named a GCAA All-Academic Team.

Established in 1958, the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) is the professional organization of men’s collegiate golf coaches. The GCAA’s mission is to support its member coaches from six divisions, including the NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA, by creating educational opportunities, providing resources, and promoting its members with the purpose of enhancing their overall performance as coaches, mentors, and teachers. The GCAA also recognizes the excellence and achievements of its members and their student-athletes in academic, athletic, and civic endeavors.
