Auckland Cricket has announced the three female and three male wider training squads for the ACA Academy as the 2024/25 pre-season begins.
The Auckland Cricket Academy is the cornerstone of our talent development programme
The programme is designed to take some of Auckland’s best identified talent and put them in a learning environment that challenges and educates them on the rigours of cricket both on and off the field, while allowing them the space to develop at their own speed and putting them in the best position to be selected and to perform at higher levels through consistent touch points and coaching.
Our development programmes have multiple entry and exit points. We appreciate that development is a non-linear journey and players will develop at different rates. Players who have been unsuccessful at this stage will be monitored closely and the chance of gaining selection to our programmes and teams remains in place throughout the season
We look forward to the further development of all these talented players as the summer kicks off!
