The 2024 Olympic Games continue today (July 27) with swimming events are scheduled to begin this morning. There will be numerous heats to watch, and they will start at 4 a.m. CT on Peacock and USA Network. After the morning heats, there will be more swimming competitions held in the afternoon. Starting at 1:30 p.m. CT, there will be two semifinal races and four finals. All of the action will be available via Peacock.

There are numerous swimmers from the United States competing in races today, including one of the best Olympic swimmers in American history. Katie Ledecky will participate in the women’s 400 meter freestyle this morning, which could lead to an appearance in the final this afternoon. She will be competing for her 11th Olympic medal today, as she already accrued seven gold medals and three silver medals throughout her career.

Ledecky will be joined by fellow American swimmer Paige Madden, who will also be searching for a medal today. Madden won the silver medal during the 4×200 meter freestyle relay at the 2020 Olympic Games, which has been her only podium finish at the Olympics.

The United States men’s swimming team also has some talent competing today, as Nic Fink will perform in the 100 meter breaststroke this morning. He is one of the best breaststroke swimmers in the world, winning multiple races at the World Championships. If he continues to perform at a high level today, then he has a great chance to reach the podium this afternoon.
