World Drowning Prevention Day, honored on July 25, highlights the unfortunate impact that drowning has on families and communities everywhere. Drowning is the leading cause of accidental injury death for children ages 1-4 but these statistics can change with information, access and education.
To help move the needle in the right direction, Goldfish Swim Schools of Metro Detroit is hosting FREE open swim events on Thursday, July 25th and always offers the first trial lesson for FREE!
World Drowning Prevention Day Family Swim Events:
Throughout the summer, Goldfish Swim School has been focused on helping families keep kids safe with Jump Start Clinics. Jump Start Clinics include four or five consecutive days* of 30-minute swim lessons. These lessons focus on everything from teaching the fundamentals of water safety to fine-tuning stroke technique.
