Can Donald Trump break 50 on the golf course?
Bryson DeChambeau found out — and everyone else will, soon.
The LIV golfer, who flamed out of the British Open last weekend, played a round with the 45th president for his “Break 50” web series, teasing an episode that drops on Tuesday.
“It’s time for @realdonaldtrump to show YouTube what he’s got,” DeChambeau wrote in an Instagram post that showed him and the Republican presidential hopeful side-by-side with crossed arms.
The round comes weeks after DeChambeau, the reigning U.S. Open winner, proposed a match between Trump and Joe Biden after their nationally televised debate detoured into touting their abilities on the course.
“Let’s settle this whole handicap debate, I’ll host the golf match on my YouTube @realDonaldTrump @JoeBiden,” he wrote on X on June 27.
It seems he got at least half of his wish.
DeChambeau’s fandom of Trump is well-documented; he used to feature a Trump logo on his golf bag, has been paired alongside him in pro-ams and even gifted him a set of clubs.

DeChambeau celebrated his U.S. Open win at Pinehurst No. 2 with a stop at Trump National Golf Club in New York, where he was feted with a video congratulations from Trump and chugged wine out of the trophy.
Still, the 30-year-old maintains that the latest 18 holes he played with the presidential candidate isn’t about politics.
“On this special episode, we will be donating $10,000 to the Wounded Warrior Project for every stroke we score under par. Stay tuned,” he wrote on X.

“To be clear, this is about golf and giving back to our nation’s veterans, not politics. A few weeks ago I reached out to both parties’ presidential campaigns and @realDonaldTrump was down for the challenge. It is an incredible honor to be able to enjoy a round of golf with any sitting or former president, and all have an open invitation to join me for a round of Break 50 anytime.”
